One of the best defensive + offensive merc in the game. The spartan wields a spear main hand and a shield off hand. His ability to equip a shield makes him a viable tank in both PvE and PvP. His skill, war cry, is useful in both PvE and PvP which is why he is rated high in both these areas. War cry significantly reduces targeted enemies combo rate, increased number of targets as you upgrade this merc, thus reducing the overall damage any mob or player can inflict on you. This does wonders when preventing scroll knock offs and controlling mobs using seth or brutal will.

True, there are other possibilities, but these are the only two that will provide a nice balance between consistent leveling and good Lineage2 Adena earnings. Groups, if you enjoy hunting with others, are relatively easy to find in Dion. It is possible to find Turek hunting groups in Gludin, but they are not as common as they once were.
This is also a good time to experiment heavily with the Dusk and Dawn competition and start building up a stock of Ancient Adena. Necropolis of Sacrifice south of Gludin is doable solo, but you will be spending a lot of money(Lineage2 Gold) on healing potions and shots, so you will probably lose money. Duos and Trios, especially a good balance of damage dealers and healers, can do quite well here, but finding a pick up group is difficult. I spent dozens of hours down here with a three person group: my Palus Knight and two Dark Wizards. Between 25 and 30 we could easily control any room in the Necro, and on more than one occasion successfully fended off people trying to drop trains on us.
Between 25 and 30, this would be the third week of July or thereabouts, the three of us rotated between Necropolis of Sacrifice, Partisan Hideaway, and Delu Lizardmen south of Floran. We gained a full level every other day or so, and we only hunted about two hours a day. By the time we hit 30 we were all in top D-grade weapons and armor or robes. Nice consistent leveling(Lineage2 powerleveling) and income with almost no downtime at all. One of the best weeks I’ve ever had playing.

Lvl 11 Guard dispel, Lvl(Atlantica powerleveling) 60 Flame Sword save up skill points and use a view potential vials on yourself so you can use Chaos Edge. Dark Seed is only for Hell Flame which you are probably not going to be using that shaman later on. Break down is obsolete in the face of the other AoE Depends on preference.
Get guard dispell no higher then 20. Then get Chaos Edge 40-60, we think deadly strike is good for a main usually, since it is a last move kind of thing, so between 10-20. Then for the last skill: either you wanna hit someone for a lot, or you like AoE. Like to hit a lot on one person: flame sword. AoE: Breakdown . Then take the last skill to whatever you have left.
You can try to get 1 of each skill though when level allows it, chaos will be last since its lv 100 you can add extra skill levels by taking into consideration your sword magic + and charm + which allows you to max out your skills, guard dispel is best at lvl 1 since it will never miss considering sword magic bonus and charm bonus.

It’s actual quite beneficial for you to grouping. Game doesn’t really penalized you for it, in fact it’s quite the opposite. Killing while party of a group generates Skill books worth 100 xp when used. You can also turn in 20 of these books to have it turned into a 1000 xp book. You can know that sounds like a bad deal, but it really isn’t.
Partying also also you to share info easier, and generally makes quest easier to do. As all players in the party will get credit towards the quest if they are both on it. So even if it’s a quest that needs an item pick up like Fox Ears. Don’t hesitate to group. You’ll both get credit for it. You can also teleport directly to a group member, also if they are in a dungeon you are required to have the map for it.
Guard is probably one of the most useful things for long combats or when facing off against a group of flyers when you are mostly melee. Before you jump into it. Let me point out that at most you allowed to use up to 5 of your mercs during any one turn. So you go into a fight with flyers and your melee are the only ones able to move for that turn.
so if your guy was sitting at -38 at the start of your turn because he attacked last round and got hit by an AP draining attack from enemy. Don’t count on guard giving him the chance to attack that round.

Atlantica: The Choice Between Archer and Cannonneer
Dear players, welcome to Thepowerlevel. Here is some advice for you to make a choice between Archer and Cannonneer in Atlantica, oue site hopes it can help you more or less.
Should we get an archer or cannonneer, we know that archers are good enough, then just make a hole in the 2nd line, focus fire the softest merc with 3 archers/2spears to be able to silence 3rd line. come to think of it, we only got princess cuz i was originally planning to get a cannonneer cuz of smoke bomb + signet to disable guns.
Replace arty with archer. and replace princess with oracle. the frontline needs to stay up, or you’re dead meat. princess can’t save your ranged mercs when that happens. and a frontline of spears and a viking ain’t very durable. An interesting alternative is to replace princess with inventor. You can AP drain+snipe+stun+cancel scrolls. Only drawback is that your not durable and lack survivability, and must count on being able to control/limit opponent actions thru AP drains and stuns, so they can not hurt you.
You must not let brutal will get thru. use dispel scroll or screw the shaman/oracle when you can, or risk being shredded.go for the cannoneer. for the passive heals. you can survive flab also since shaman/oracle heal sux at abfl. but go for cannoneer instead of another archer. then just go hwarang once it’s out shaman and oracle heal is godly in ABFL if you know how to do it. the good ABFL players often use 4 staffs or 5 staffs if they’re also a staff main.

-Scroll of Bewitching - Allows you to party with nearby mobs for ten minutes or until the bewitched mob is dead. Extremely effective in crowded areas and dungeons.
Cast time: Instant / out-of-battle cast
-Scroll of Purification - Dispells all magic on your team. Helpful for mobs that constantly freeze or poison your team.
Cast time: Instant / in-battle
-Scroll of Judgement - Attacks the enemy team with a bolt of lighting. Effective against mobs with poor magical defense. (atk power of this scroll is determined by lvl)
Cast time : one turn / in-battle
-Freezing Scroll - Attacks the enemy team with shards of ice. Effective against mobs with poor physical defense. (atk power of this scroll is determined by lvl)
Cast time : one turn / in-battle
-Scroll of Life’s Blessing - Casts a full team heal to all merc that are alive on your team. Extremely useful for boss fights and whenever your healer is down.
Cast time : Instant / in-battle
-Scroll of Reinforcements - Forces nearby mobs to help you in battle. However, if there are no nearby mobs, this scroll will not work.
Cast time : one turn / in-battle
-Scroll of Resurrection - Brings all dead merc back to life on your team. However, all revived merc will be stunned for two turns.
Cast time : Instant / in- battle
-Scroll of Vortex - Attacks the enemy team by engulfing them in a vortex. atk power is decent and is based on lvl of the scroll (BEG, INT, ADV, PRE)

-Awakening Scroll - awakens all stunned merc on your team as well as removing any combo-counters they may have on them.
